HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Job Title : RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Job Type : Temporary (Contract)

Location :  Eagle Pass, TX 78852

Shift : 8-Hour Day Shift (6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM), after hours as needed, 5 days a week

Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care pre- and post-operatively.
  • Assess the operating room for equipment readiness and functioning.
  • Obtain and prepare necessary supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Monitor, position, and assist patients during surgery.
  • Maintain surgical equipment and inventory as required.
  • Communicate effectively with surgical team members regarding patient condition.
  • Participate in call rotations : 1–2 weekdays and every other weekend.

    • Required Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
  • Expertise in Operating Room and PACU settings is required.

    • Licensure, Certification, & Registration :

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.

    • Education :

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

    • Skills & Knowledge :

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills and additional language skills are desirable.
  • Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care knowledge and skills.
