Position Overview
A high-volume acute-care hospital in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment beginning December 20, 2025
The provider will work weekday day shifts with evening and weekend call responsibilities. Compensation is among the top 10% of market rates nationally for interventional radiology locums.
Overtime and callback hours are paid at enhanced multipliers.
Travel and lodging are prepaid, malpractice insurance is covered, and credentialing support is fully provided.
Assignment Highlights

Schedule :
In-house : Mon-Fri 8 a-5 p
Evening Call : 5 p-7 a (0-1 callbacks expected)
Weekend Call : 24-hr call Sat 7 a-Sun 7 a (2-3 callbacks typical)
Travel & Lodging : Prepaid
Malpractice : Provided (1M / 3M limits)
Credentialing : Approx 45 days - temp privileges available
Skills & Experience
MD / DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
Active Idaho license or IMLC accepted
Core procedures required :
Trauma embolization (body), pulmonary thrombectomy, gastric tube placement, biliary / chole tube placement, nephrostomy and ureteral stenting, dialysis graft / fistula stenting, body arteriography, IVC filter placement / removal
Preferred procedures :
Cryo / thermal ablation, TIPS, venous & arterial stenting / thrombectomy / limb salvage, uterine & prostate artery embolization, Y-90 & chemoembolization, pseudoaneurysm treatment
Job Responsibilities
Provide in-house IR coverage Mon-Fri 8 a-5 p; evening and weekend call coverage per schedule.
Perform the full range of interventional radiology procedures listed above.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and safe patient care.
Complete thorough EMR documentation and maintain compliance with facility standards.
