Summary :

In this role, you will spearhead the technical product development, collaborating closely with stakeholder and product owners to ensue effective building, enhancement, and support.

You will build, lead and inspire teams to create high-value products for Vizient Commercial IT. Additionally, you will oversee technical platforms for Vizient's internal analytics data warehouse, digital properties, and content management systems (CMS), leveraging your expertise to drive their success.

Fostering a culture of shared team ownership, you will provide guidance and support as a player / coach, contributing to projects, products, applications, and issue resolution to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to foresee staff capacity needs and work with functional heads and others to plan for expansion as necessary.
  • Offer solutions and visualize new and initial initiatives in the product pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with the Solution Line Leader to ensure the successful delivery of features and products.
  • Facilitate the estimation process within the team for requested initiatives and features while also serving as an escalation point for high-severity production issues, working collaboratively to identify, address, and resolve them.
  • Oversee a designated range of products, applications, and technical platforms, assume accountability for their technical quality, architecture, operational readiness, and technical debt.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture to steer and oversee the design of application architecture, ensuring compliance and adherence to robust engineering practices.
  • Work closely with the DevOps, Quality Assurance (QA), and support team to ensure optimum development and operations.
  • Serve as a catalyst for change, collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance current technical and operational processes, offer innovative ideas, and provide thought leadership.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, internal technology roadmaps and regulatory requirements to maintain alignment with business needs and guide staff development towards acquiring the appropriate skill sets.
  • Contribute input and influence decision regarding new vendor agreements, technology acquisitions, and related matters.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned software developers, including recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing performance management.
  • Design and implement personalized development plans for direct reports to support their professional growth.
  • Advocate for projects and funding for technical improvements while ensuring financial accountability by managing staffing within budget and oversee timely completion of timesheets.
  • Champion projects and secure funding for technical enhancements, while ensuring financial accountability through budget management.

Qualifications :

  • Relevant degree preferred in Computer Science / Engineering or related field.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience with direct, indirect, or cross-functional team leadership roles required.
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server and T-SQL with extensive hands-on experience required.
  • Experience utilizing ETL tools like SSIS or Azure Data Factory required.
  • Proficient in Data Engineering tools such as Databricks or Snowflake required.
  • Experience understanding and developing data lake or delta lake ecosystems required.
  • Experience in software development utilizing ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server, Windows Server, HTML, and JavaScript is preferred.
  • Experience leading Digital Technology teams and CMS platforms highly preferred.
  • Experience with Sitecore development and deployment preferred.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, solution monitoring & troubleshooting preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range :

$135,200.00 - $201,200.00
