Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent Must satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as required A valid region / market specific security license as per local regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Ability to speak to Asset Protection practices and trends during team and leadership meetings Awareness of retail procedures and civil / criminal processes is an asset Working knowledge of retail security and information systems, and productivity software Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays Build awareness and act as a role model for Saks OFF 5TH customer experience Engage in store-wide communication regarding Asset Protection best practices, training, and safety meetings Contribute to development and execution of local shortage strategy and audits Maintain physical security standards and initiate timely adjustments Support Asset Protection excellence by following policies to safeguard customers, associates, and assets Detect and document shoplifting incidents using standard procedures Identify opportunities to improve Asset Protection strategies by compiling reports from audits and data Aim for targets of investigative performance by addressing theft exposures and completing related reports Conduct Asset Protection operational and self-audits in sensitive areas Respond to after-hours alarm calls and emergency situations Complete tasks and special projects as assigned by store leadership Be part of an empowered, innovative team with a customer-centric mindset Exposure to career advancement opportunities across corporate offices, stores, studios, and distribution centers A culture that promotes a flexible work environment Benefits package for eligible full-time employees (medical, dental, vision) Employee discount and other perks
