Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Network Engineer to work on a team executing integration efforts on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis AFB, NV. The position provides on-site M&S support to establish and deliver high-end Advanced Tactics, Training, and Test capability for Government personnel operating under USAFWC / ACC; deliver mission execution and support to broad range of JITTC-N simulator activities and Joint Simulation Environment (JSE).

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Designing and planning network systems.
• Providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Providing specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conducting testing of network systems.
• Maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways.
• Evaluating and reporting on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
