Team Lead (Inventory Control Team) 2nd Shift

WORK HOURS Monday – Friday 3PM – 11PM

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime which may include some weekends

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a member of the Team Lead Production, this role is a critical role and is responsible for problem solving issues and supporting our Operations team members to remove roadblocks and solve problems to ensure operational success through attaining KPIs in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
• Communicate with team members to resolve issues to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
• Be a champion of the department’s SOPs. Coach and train team members on the SOPs for the department.
• Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestions
• Works to ensure team members are thoroughly cross trained in multiple functions both within and outside department
• Identify and resolve small conflicts within the department; work closely with the Supervisor/Manager to resolve larger conflicts.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

• Thrives on solving problems in both traditional and creative ways
• Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
• Desire to learn/grow
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
• Great attention to detail and organization skills
• Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SAP a plus
• Flexibility to work varying shifts in support of the operation
• Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed
• Must be punctual with excellence in attendance
• Must be able to pass background check.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or GED (required)
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience
• Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance
• Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
