Certified Healthcare Privacy Director

A company is looking for a Director of Privacy Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and direct strategic goals for compliance with federal and state privacy requirements

Administer daily operations of the privacy program, including policy maintenance and monitoring activities

Assess the effectiveness of the overall privacy program and manage privacy incidents

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) or equivalent

Five (5) years of experience in healthcare privacy with three (3) years in leadership / management

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a closely related field from an accredited program

Preferred : Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Law, or closely related field

Preferred : Seven (7) years of experience in healthcare privacy, including experience in an academic healthcare setting
