Knowledge about manufacturing processes and inspection methods will be utilized in day to day activity. Challenges of bettering machining processes and increasing productivity within AS9100 Quality (aerospace part quality) standards will be achieved. As always experts / mentors training will be provided and ongoing learning documentation will be a part of job routine.

Scope :

– Performs quality inspection checks in accordance with approved drawings, analyzes and documents manufacturing test procedures and contract requirements. Routinely uses computer aided gauging and hand measurement tools. Maintains Manufacturing process and Quality records.

Skills / Training Required :

– 1-2 years’ experience measuring CNC machined part dimensions with various quality equipment in an industrial environment.

– 3-5 years Knowledge about machining process on CNC Lathes / Mills. CAD / CAM Experience preferred

– Knowledgeable of calibration and inspection tools, gauges and applicable quality standards

– Ability to read, understand and measure parts to blueprints and customer specifications, then document findings

– Knowledge on GD&T is a must.

– Ability to program Keyence for automated final inspections, Hands on experience on manual CMM.

Responsibilities :

– Receive and inspect incoming material through final inspections

– Improve and document efficient manufacturing processes for existing and new jobs.

– Inspect and approve First Pieces from machinists and suggest offsets as necessary

– Create and maintain documentation in database about process sheets and inspection reports

– Ballooning blue prints, create inspection reports and approve in process sheets for final production for new and existing parts

– Trained in material handling and lot traceability

– Maintain log of the scrap and assist in packing and shipping

– In-house calibrations and calibration schedule

– Support in management process improvement activities
