Join Our Neurosurgery Team!

As a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in our Neurosurgery department, you will have the unique opportunity to care for a diverse and complex patient population in a supportive and innovative environment. Our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit specializes in :

Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries
Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program
High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

What We Offer :

Competitive pay ranging from $37.50 to $56.25 per hour

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000

Your Responsibilities :

Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to adapt care plans as needed.

Support patient safety through proactive risk assessment and intervention.

Facilitate effective discharge planning and coordination with healthcare team members.

Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experiences.

Qualifications :

Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Minimum of 1 year experience in clinical nursing preferred
