Senior Research Scientist

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Research Scientist to advance AI techniques in drug discovery.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and training large-scale machine learning models in genomics, proteomics, and chemistry

Conducting experimental design to evaluate the capabilities and limitations of developed foundation models

Mentoring team members and leading research initiatives while collaborating with hardware and software teams

Required Qualifications

PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or Computational Biology

4+ years of experience in deep learning, bioinformatics, chemical engineering, or related fields

Proven track record in engineering and research excellence

Deep understanding of modern AI techniques and hands-on experience with large neural networks

Strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or similar languages
