Utilizes standardized and non-standardized assessment and measuring tools. Plans, coordinates, and implements occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans. Determines appropriate therapy techniques and sequence. Coordinates treatment plans with other programs for overall client benefit. Provides consultation to clients and other health care professionals regarding client progress. Makes recommendations for treatment and integration of plans. Participates in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services. Contributes to policies and procedures. Acts as an interdisciplinary team member. Assesses and locates suitable adaptive equipment. Documents evaluations, observations, and assessments of client performance. Records treatment plans and revisions. Requisitions supplies and equipment. Maintains records and stays informed about current knowledge in occupational therapy. Attends mandatory training and staff meetings.
