Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a part-time School Social Worker to provide virtual services for charter school students. This position is for the current school year.

School Social Worker Salary Range : $60-$65 per hour

School Social Worker Position Details :

Preferably available during the day
Experience with teletherapy / virtual services preferred
Self-management skills required
Flexible scheduling
Experience within schools highly preferred

School Social Worker Qualifications :

License as a Social Worker in the state of Missouri

School Certification as a Social Worker in the state of Missouri

Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances

Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include :

Driving student achievement for students with disabilities

Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data

Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning

Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills

Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students

Handling Medicare reimbursements
