divh2Grow Your Career with NTT DATA / h2pThe Strategic Client Manager is responsible for generating new revenue from the sale of high bandwidth IP transit services together with associated other value-added services, to ISPs and Internet-centric companies, both domestically and internationally. This role requires management and growth of large scale named accounts with significant analysis of technical and commercial terms as well as hunting for prospective new logos. The SCM will be responsible for leading the strategy and success of the customers overall engagement with GIN, closely coordinating all activities with other functional teams within GIN. / ppIn this role you will : / pulliGenerate new sales consistent with monthly NIMRR targets. / liliPrepare commercial and technical service proposals and ensure such proposals are technically and commercially sound. / liliDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key business executives and stakeholders in prospect and customer organizations. / liliDevelopment of close working relationships with NTT international affiliate companies. / liliWork closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions, Order Management, Operations, and other key eco-system team members to drive successful and meaningful customer experience with GIN. / liliDevelopment of a quarterly business plan consistent with department objectives. / liliTrack, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan. / liliFlexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm local time zone hours. / liliAbility to travel up to 50%, or as needed. / li / ulpThis role is perfect for you, if you : / pulliGood knowledge of key global IP Networks Service providers, Ethernet service offerings, CDN and DDoS services. / liliMust have advanced technical understanding of IP transit concepts like ASN, BGP and peering and positioning value with purchasers. / liliMinimum of 5-7 years of sales experience selling to wholesale consumers of bandwidth including but not limited to gaming, hosting and CDN companies. / liliGood knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications. / liliGood knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM. / liliA track record of over-achieving sales quotas. / liliBachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred. / li / ulpSkills and Core Competencies : / pulliDevelopment of complex multi-component business solutions within the Technology and / or ISP industries / liliSuccessful track record with Wholesale and / or Major Accounts - experience with global sales preferred / liliA track record of over-achieving sales targets / liliThorough understanding of the underlying technologies and economics of the Internet. / liliMust be familiar with the unique technical requirements of large network customers. / liliExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written. / liliMust be able to efficiently communicate to senior management both within and outside the company. / liliAbility to prepare and deliver professionally structured and written customer proposals with limited supervision. / liliAbility to work efficiently with finance, sales engineering, legal, IP engineering resources / liliFlexibility to work outside of standard 9am-6pm local time zone hours. / liliTravel, as permitted, to customer meetings, trade events and other business events as may be required / li / ulpWorking Conditions : / ppThis is a home office-based position, with some travel for company / sales meetings as well as to client sites. Flexibility to work outside of standard 9am-6pm local time zone hours may be required at times to support this global team. / ppTarget Base Salary : $110,000-$130,000K (based on experience) plus variable commissions. / ppNTT intends to offer a base pay within this range dependent upon factors such as experience and job-related requirements.
