Requirements of an Endocrinologist : Must be Board Certified in Endocrinology Must have an active NY State Medical License Fellowship training in Endocrinology Must have an Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration Bilingual in Spanish. Schedule of an Endocrinologist : This is a Full-time position Compensation and Benefits of Endocrinologist : The salary for this position is $225,000 / yr. Paid Time Off Health Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance Malpractice Job Description of Endocrinologist : Should be comfortable treating a range of endocrine disorders, hormonal imbalances, and thyroid conditions including comprehensive diabetes care. Must be motivated, able to work collaboratively with other team members, and offer strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills. Job Responsibilities of Endocrinologist : Analyzing, examining, and investigating patients and their medical histories for signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances. Advising, ordering, performing tests, and interpreting their results. Discussing diagnosis with patients, explaining treatment options, and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures. Supporting patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions. Participate in the education of medical students and residents. 70 / 30 mix of ambulatory / inpatient cases.
