A school support organization is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide academic and behavioral assistance to students across multiple grade levels. This role focuses on promoting engagement and maintaining a safe, structured learning space. Fingerprinting and background clearance are required.

Responsibilities :

Support teacher-led instruction by assisting students during lessons and activities.

Provide direct help to students with individualized learning or behavioral plans.

Supervise classroom activities, transitions, and other daily routines.

Record student performance data and communicate observations as directed.

Follow school policies related to confidentiality, conduct, and safety.

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Minimum of high school diploma or GED; coursework in education or psychology preferred.

Prior experience working with children or youth in educational or childcare settings beneficial.

Completion of state fingerprinting and background screening required.

Reliable, flexible, and able to adjust to various classroom settings.

Professional communication skills and a calm, supportive approach with students.
