Financial Analyst

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting and operating an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in a hands-on operational capacity. The position focuses on day-to-day system usage end-user support and financial operations rather than ERP implementation or consulting. The ideal candidate is a self-directed professional with strong accounting knowledge excellent communication skills and practical experience working directly within an ERP environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite collaboration with some flexibility for highly proactive and communicative candidates.

Required Skills & Experience

ERP Experience

Hands-on operational experience using an ERP system in a production environment

Deep functional knowledge of ERP platforms such as NetSuite SAP Oracle or similar

Experience supporting end users with real-world day-to-day system and financial questions

Background must be operational; implementation-only or consulting-only experience is not suitable

Accounting & Financial Knowledge

Practical accounting experience or formal education in accounting or finance

Strong understanding of core financial processes including :

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

CPA pursuit or certification is preferred but not required

Professional Competencies

Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proactive in providing updates managing follow-through and resolving issues

Comfortable operating in environments with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Experience acting as a primary ERP support resource for finance or accounting teams

Exposure to multi-entity or high-volume transactional environments

Demonstrated ability to bridge accounting needs and system functionality
