Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular IR experience and EVAR proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Hybrid OR Suite equipped for advanced vascular interventions
  • Position is located within a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital
  • Unit serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Procedures include angiography, stents, angioplasty, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, and dialysis graft interventions
  • Neurovascular and abdominal / pelvic interventions such as carotid angiography, embolization, mesenteric angiograms, vertebroplasty, and TIPS are performed
  • Must be able to operate GE Innova IGS, C-arm, and PACS systems
  • Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM), Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 125 on-call hours per month
  • Floating to other units within the organization is required as needed
  • Responsibilities include performing advanced interventional radiology procedures and maintaining imaging equipment
  • Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly following contract signing
  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Former employees are eligible after a 6-month break from facility employment
  • Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible as travelers
  • All requested time off must be submitted with initial consideration

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of vascular interventional radiology experience required
  • Must have proven experience with Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
  • Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
  • ACLS and ARRT(VI) certifications preferred
  • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital is preferred
  • Proficiency with angiography, vascular procedures, neurovascular, abdominal and pelvic procedures, fluoroscopy, and PACS operations
  • Must be able to provide two professional references, with at least one from a managerial or leadership role
  • License required if applicable
