The Opportunity : CNC Machine Programmer

Reports To : Machining Manager

Your Role : As a CNC Machine Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and evaluating computer programs for a variety of equipment. At PEKO, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills as a CNC Programmer working together with a dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating programs to manufacture precision parts based on detailed engineering models. Youll play a key role in transforming innovative designs into high-quality, manufacturable components.

Key Responsibilities :

• Decipher the programming requirements of complex machine tools to support operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings and models to develop CNC programs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure programs meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Troubleshoot and revise programs as needed to improve performance.
• Maintain documentation and records of programming activities.( i.e.,Set-Up sheets, Tool lists)
• Troubleshoot and revise programs to improve quality, reduce cycle times, and optimize machine utilization.
• Collaborate with all cross-functional departments to support production efficiency and continuous improvement,
• Adhere to all Quality and Safety standards.

Salary Range :

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $28.00-$35.00 per hour.

The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
