Sterile Processing Department Technician

The Sterile Processing Department Technician are responsible for the processing and distribution of instruments and medical equipment used in patient care areas and for the input of patient charges.
Major Position Responsibilities :
Documents and verifies sterilization loads and biological tests to determine the efficacy of the sterilization process.
Decontamination : Identifies and uses appropriate methods to sort, disassemble, decontaminate, rinse and disinfect instruments and equipment. Maintains safety standards.
