Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a respected healthcare facility in Pecos, TX.

Details : 40 hours per week

13-week assignment

4x10 hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality nursing care during all perioperative phases, including pre-op, PACU, and circulating responsibilities.

Circulate a variety of surgical cases with emphasis on cataracts, orthopedics, general surgery, and gynecology.

Monitor patient status, respond to clinical changes, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists in a fast-paced OR environment.

Prepare, assess, and recover surgical patients in pre-op and PACU settings, ensuring continuity of care.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Ability to work in pre-op, PACU, and circulating roles Required

Experience in cataracts and orthopedic surgery Required

Experience in general and gynecology cases Required

BLS and ACLS certifications Required

Active TX or compact RN license Required
