Maintenance Worker

Qualifications :

• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Possess certification in one of the major trades such as electrical, plumbing, industrial maintenance, HVAC, etc.
• Possess general skills in all of the above mentioned areas
• Be highly adaptable and willing to work during nights and holidays
• Possess a desire to show initiative and willingness to learn
• Possess or obtain a Class "B" CDL with "P" and "S" Endorsements
• Possess or obtain a valid Alabama School Bus Driver Certificate
• Possess and maintain a DOT medical certificate
• Satisfactory background investigation and TB test
• Pass a pre-employment drug / alcohol test and participate in the system's random drug / alcohol testing program
• Such alternatives and / or exceptions to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Maintenance Supervisor and / or Director of Operations

Job Goal :

Work independently, enthusiastically, and as a team member while ensuring that our facilities are maintained in an efficient and professional manner.

Performance Responsibilities :

Terms of Employment :

Twelve (12) month contract in accordance with the approved salary schedule for maintenance workers

Evaluation :

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board regarding the evaluation of support personnel.
