Summary / Objective :
The Mortgage Systems Administrator is the primary point of accountability for the mortgage loan origination system (Encompass) and related platforms. This role ensures system integrity, compliance, and optimal performance by managing configurations, workflows, and automation. The Administrator drives efficiency through technical solutions, supports strategic business objectives, and collaborates with internal teams and vendors for escalated issues.
This position directly impacts member experience and organizational success by ensuring mortgage systems operate securely and efficiently.

System Ownership & Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for Encompass, including configuration, business rules, workflows, and user permissions.
- Serve as the primary administrator for Mortgage Services SDP, including configuration, workflows, user permissions and daily ticket management.
- Co-manage Optimal Blue pricing engine integration.
- Oversee system updates, patches, and testing for mortgage platforms.
- Maintain system uptime and performance standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SLAs.
Innovation & Process Improvement
Identify and implement emerging technologies (e.g., RPA, AI) to drive efficiency and enhance the member experience.Process Automation & Optimization
Develop and maintain custom scripts or code (Visual Basic.NET) to automate processes.Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.Track and report on efficiency gains and error reduction resulting from system changes.Data Integrity & Reporting
Ensure accuracy of data within the LOS and related systems.Compile and distribute operational and management reports.Project & Risk Management
Lead system-related projects, including upgrades and new feature implementations.Assess risks related to system changes and provide mitigation strategies.Proactive Partnership
Work closely with Mortgage Managers to align system functionality with business needs.Work closely with IT to proactively identify, plan, and implement technology solutions that support mortgage operations, security, and compliance.Work environment

Minimum 2 years administering a mortgage loan origination system (Encompass strongly preferred).Experience with system configuration, workflow design, and automation.Proficiency in Visual Basic.NET or similar scripting languages.Encompass Administrator and Developer certifications highly desirable.Strong understanding of mortgage production processes.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Other duties
