Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08 : 00 - 16 : 30). No weekends or call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Procedure Technologist to join our dynamic Imaging Services team. This role involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and venography, utilizing specialized equipment.

The technologist will be responsible for patient preparation and positioning, equipment operation and maintenance, contrast media administration, patient monitoring, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to radiation safety protocols. Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EHR, and ChangeHealthcare PACS is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, and biopsies.
  • Manage patient care during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols regarding radiation and contrast media.
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive records.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CI) preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • State licensure as required.
