Mace Machine is a precision CNC manufacturer specializing in complex, tight-tolerance parts for our nation's defense. We are seeking an experienced Swiss-style CNC Programmer / Machinist to take a leading role in production, continuous improvement, and workforce development as we expand our capabilities.

What Youll Do

Program, set up, and operate Citizen L20 / L32 / A20 Swiss-type lathes for precision, small-diameter components.

Lead and mentor operators and apprentices to strengthen team capability and efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement projects in setup reduction, tool life management, process documentation, and workflow optimization.

Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure conformance to AS9100 and defense manufacturing standards.

Participate in training and process standardization initiatives that elevate the entire shops performance.

What Were Looking For

Minimum 5 years experience programming and setting up Citizen, Star, or Tsugami Swiss machines.

Proven supervisory or lead machinist experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, offsets, and process optimization.

Comfort working from engineering drawings and military specifications.

A hands-on leader with a passion for mentorship, precision, and progress.
