  • Licenses : Active Virginia medical license required
  • Board : BE / BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • DEA : Active DEA required
  • Certifications : Not specified
  • Experience : For GME positions, prior GME experience required
  • Other Qualifications : Must be clean file, willing to work days / nights, minimum 7 shifts

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inpatient hospitalist care to adult patients
  • Participate in rounding and admissions as required
  • Perform procedures such as central lines, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
  • Collaborate with residency program and medical staff
  • Ensure quality patient care and documentation in EMR system
