Lead CNC Service Operations That Keep Manufacturers Competitive

Imagine starting your day by reviewing open service calls, aligning with sales on urgent customer needs, and fine-tuning the deployment calendar so every Field Service Engineer (FSE) is in the right place at the right time. By mid-day you’re collaborating with engineering to sequence critical-path installation activities; later you’re on a customer floor providing hands-on support when it matters most. You wrap up by approving service reports and invoicing details, checking progress against financial KPIs, and coaching a technician on their next career step.

That’s the rhythm of this CNC Service Operations Leader role at Ellison Technologies—North America’s provider of advanced machining solutions to metal-cutting manufacturers and their global affiliates. For 70 years, we’ve supported the survival and growth of American manufacturing through a network of independent offices that keep us locally focused and close to customer needs. We introduce technologies—from stand-alone machines and multi-process equipment to integrated systems with robotic automation—to maximize throughput and quality at the lowest cost per part.

Location and Team

You’ll support our Southeast operations. This position is associated with our Indiaplois office (with the flexibility to live elsewhere in the state and work largely remote), and is also described as attached to our Brentwood, Tennessee office—remote possible in that scenario as well.

What You’ll Own

• Coordinate responses to customer service and information requests in partnership with sales, builders, service operations associates, technical support specialists, and FSEs.
• Own the deployment calendar and scheduling for field service technicians / engineers; step in for occasional on-site customer support.
• Review and approve all field service engineer documentation, including service reports and invoicing details.
• Drive financial KPIs, service revenue growth, strong customer satisfaction results, service agreement commercialization and renewals, and effective utilization of FSE capacity and resources.
