Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician . The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting to maintain, repair and update the organization's machines and equipment where proficiency allows. Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedures and initiates safety improvements to operations as appropriate. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay : $24.82 + .40 shift differential

Schedule : 2nd shift 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM, after training on 1st shift from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM

Pay Schedule : Weekly

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities :

Supports continuous improvement.

• Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Maintains effective communication with other employees, including supervisor / management.
• Assists to troubleshoot equipment that has failed to operate properly, determines cause of defect and undertakes corrective action that is required.
• Ability to operate machine shop equipment (including, but not limited to, lathes, millers, saws, pipe thread machines, grinders, drill press, shaper, etc.) to produce an acceptable part as directed.
• Successful completion of Crane Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space and Powered Industrial Truck and other training programs as prescribed by HR / Safety Department.
• Maintains accurate records for all work completed.
• Able to work overtime as business needs require.
• Attends meetings and participates as required.
• Upholds a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
