Job Description

Position Purpose :

C&D Tech II is responsible for performing various general labor activities that include the operation of large machinery that provide assistance to the jobsite.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities :

• Operates a vehicle or other special equipment such as forklift, backhoe, amphibious vehicle, or vactor as part of the general labor duties.
• Performs maintenance on the property and in field as required via the use of a maintenance request for or verbal request.
• Keeps a log of all maintenance acuities, date of work completed, and as much detail as possible as to what work was performed.
• Make scheduled inspections of the grounds.
• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.
• Performs various tasks (i.e., shoveling, transfers manhole covers, handle eqt.) to assist Crew Leader.
• Assist with identifying safety improvements related to the facilities, equipment, or procedures.
• Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.
• Performs regular checks of equipment conditions, noting deficiencies and following maintenance procedures. Notifies supervisor of needed maintenance.
• Performs other duties as required.
