Must-Have : Experience in orthopedic, neuro, cystoscopy, general, and trauma cases

Description :

RNs are rotating between 1-2 evening calls (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) a week.

RNs are also rotating taking two to three 24-hour weekend calls on a schedule (every 4 weeks).

The unit has 9 operating room beds and a staff of 14 RNs.

Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, RNs, surgical technologists, certified first assistants, and orderlies, dependent on case volume.

Night shift includes 1 RN and 1 surgical technologist / certified first assistant.

Patient ratios are 1 RN with at least 1 surgical technologist in each case.

The unit performs various procedures including orthopedic, general, cardio-thoracic, podiatry, gynecological, neuro, vascular, and plastics.

Candidates should have a calm demeanor.

Floating areas are not available.

Scrub color or attire will be OR scrubs provided.

Weekend and call rotations are required.
