Custodian-Part-Time, Nights & Weekends

Reports To : Conversion Manager / Event Custodial Supervisor

FLSA Status : Part-Time Hourly

OVERVIEW

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide guests with a positive impression of Cabarrus Arena & Events Center by cleaning and maintaining the facility and assisting guests as appropriate. This position is expected to work cohesively with all employees of Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in order to maintain a superior level of guest service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean event spaces before, during, and after events.
• Effectively and efficiently respond to custodial calls during and after events.
• Calls should be acknowledged and closed in a timely manner.
• Assist with pre / post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to : sanitizing and disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling and sorting materials, vacuuming, floor care, carpet care such as stain removal and window washing.

Hours of work include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Other custodial duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
