Title : Cath Lab Tech
Location : Pocatello, ID
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 30 - 18 : 00)
Job Responsibilities and Required Skills :
This position supports interventional cardiology, structural heart, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures in the Cath Lab. The role involves scrubbing and monitoring a variety of procedures, including cath lab, EP, and Watchman procedures. The candidate will also be responsible for rotating call during the week and weekends.
Required Skills and Certifications :
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
ARRT (Radiologic Technologist Certification)
Experience with scrub duties and monitoring procedures, including :
Balloon angioplasty
Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
Stent placement
Thrombectomy
Pacemaker insertion
Diagnostic catheterizations (pediatric / neonatal)
Impella insertion
Left / Right heart catheterization
Rotablader
Electrophysiology studies
Preferred : ARRT Advanced Certification
Preferred : Siemens, Shockwave, Rotoblader / CSI, Angiojet, Philips Allura FD 20 equipment experience
Preferred : EPIC and McKesson charting systems
Call Coverage required (Monday-Friday : 1800-0730, Saturday-Sunday : 0730-0730)
Must be willing to work 4x10 hour shifts and rotating weekend call
100-mile radius rule in effect (traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility)
Additional Skills (Preferred) : \nExperience in coil embolization, filter placement, and venous access\nCardiology clinic or inpatient cardiology experience\nEKG settings and rhythm interpretation experience\nPacemaker management and Holter monitoring
