Purpose of the Position :

Work with ACSI painters to produce a quality finished product each and every time by using personal skills, equipment, and established manufacturing processes associated with finished paint coatings including wet and / or powder coat paint applications.

Essential job functions :

• Meet and or exceed company metrics including Safety; Quality; Cost; and Delivery.
• Work with painters to reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret drawings allowing manufacturing to build to the design intent.
• Prep raw material for the painter to apply paint.
• Mix paint pots for the painters.
• Keep area clean and free of any safety hazards.
• Adhere to any established painting prep processes.
• Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor or lead man.

Knowledge, skills and abilities :

Ability to read and understand English.

Ability to understand and execute directions from supervisor and or lead man.

Knowledge of reading measurement equipment; tape measure, mil thickness gage.

1-3 years experience in paint process applications preferably Steel and metal structures.

1-3 years working with finished goods painters

Physical Demands :

100% shop.

Hours :

Week : 40+ Lunch : 30 minutes Sitting : Standing : 50% Walking : 50%
