Building Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Fairfax, VA

What's the Job?

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems.

Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, and Life Safety systems to ensure optimal operation.

Monitor and record equipment readings, making adjustments as necessary to maintain performance standards.

Ensure compliance with safety policies, including hazardous materials handling and workplace safety protocols.

Coordinate with outside contractors, monitor work quality, and manage inventory of tools and instruments.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.

EPA Universal Certification.

Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
