Description :

Responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting.

Experience with a patient ratio of 1 : 3-1 : 6.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including unit secretaries and tech availability.

Familiarity with GE Monitors and documentation systems like CPN.

Demonstrated skills in IV initiation, phototherapy, bubble CPAP maintenance, tube feeding, NAS care, management of preterm babies, NRP skills, and managing low blood sugar in neonates.

Proficient in performing lumbar punctures, circumcisions, and medication administration through IV.

Assist healthcare providers with various procedures as needed.

Unit supports quality patient experiences and expects staff to uphold high standards of care.

Experience with advanced neonatal care and familiarity with procedures performed in the unit are essential.

Dress code requires specific scrub attire provided for nursing staff.

Unit policies and guidelines will be made available upon hire.

A supportive environment includes having a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner available 24 / 7.
