VNS Westchester is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our care team. As an HHA, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Important : Applicants must be fluent in English and have an active New York State HHA certification - or be eligible for recertification - to be considered.

What You'll Do as a Certified HHA

• Assist clients with personal care : bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and dressing
• Take and record vital signs, report changes, and assist with medication reminders under nurse supervision
• Provide mobility support : transfers, walking assistance, and help with mobility aids
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, dishwashing, and maintain a safe living environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams, documenting all care provided
• Follow infection control practices, maintain confidentiality, and complete required ongoing training
