• Location : Tucson, Arizona 85745\n
• Healthcare Setting : Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – 40-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patients\n
• Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (weekly starts available)\n
• Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 2, with clinical tech support\n
• Scrub Color : Navy Blue\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required\n
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required\n
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification – required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or ICU nursing experience\n
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred\n\nCVICU RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to advanced cardiac and critical care treatments\n
• Manage complex procedures including CRRT, Impella, IABP, EKOS, and other advanced cardiac devices\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans\n
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process\n
