Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Gilberts, IL. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Utilize Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to assess potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Apply the 5 Why method for root cause analysis to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Analyze quality control data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure all components meet specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience per IATF 16949 or direct experience with Automotive Quality Standards
• Strong knowledge of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Experience with the 5 Why root cause analysis method.
• Proficient in quality control data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
