Golf Course & Grounds Interns

Congressional Country Club is seeking motivated Golf Course & Grounds Interns for the 2026 season. This will be another exciting year as we continue preparing the Club to host future major championships, while also delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Interns will gain hands-on, practical experience at one of the most storied clubs in the country, working directly in golf course maintenance and operations. In addition to championship preparation, fall 2025 marks the groundbreaking of our new state-of-the-art maintenance facility and staff housing complex, making this an especially exciting time to join our team.

Internship Experience

Interns will assist with the daily maintenance of both the Blue and Gold Courses, working alongside our Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents. Key learning opportunities include :

• Fertilizer / pesticide calibration and application practices
• Golf course setup and tournament preparation
• Irrigation repair and water management on USGA and push-up greens
• Turf disease identification and monitoring
• Equipment maintenance exposure
• Clubhouse horticulture and grounds operations
