Paraprofessional

The Marshall Public School District is seeking an individual to work with students and support their academic development. The selected candidate will also be required to obtan a substitute teaching certificate with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education within the specified timeframe.

Qualifications:

1. Education level –Individuals with one of the following qualifications are eligible to be an instructional paraprofessional:

• 60 college credit hours,
• Associate's degree or higher,
• Missouri ParaPro Assessment passing score (before September 23, 2013),
• Missouri Paraprofessional Assessment passing score (after September 23, 2013), or
• Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program.

1. Other requirements – Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education.
2. Ability to complete tasks in a discrete and confidential manner.
