Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Odessa, TX 79761 (West Texas nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Unit : Flexpool - Med / Surg Tele Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 25 / 2025 – End : 2 / 24 / 2026) Hours per Week : 36 (facility may consider 48 hours / week or alternating 36 / 48) Shifts per Week : 4 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750 Number of Positions : 4 Orientation : 16 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Med / Surg Tele nursing experience preferred) BLS certification required NIHSS certification preferred Experience with Cerner charting system preferred Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed) COVID-19 vaccine not required Willingness to float to other Med / Surg / Tele units as assigned Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med / Surg Tele unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other Med / Surg / Tele units as needed Maintain accurate and timely charting using Cerner (preferred) Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Experience the warmth and hospitality of Odessa, Texas, while advancing your nursing career in a supportive healthcare environment.
