Job Responsibilities

  • Craft Customized Therapy Plans : Assess patient needs and create individualized treatment strategies to support their functional aspirations
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques : Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams : Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrated patient care
  • Guide Patients and Families : Educate patients and their families on therapy approaches to promote ongoing progress outside of sessions
  • Track Progress and Adjust Plans : Document clinical outcomes and adapt interventions to ensure patients continue making strides

Education

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and welcomed
  • Required Credentials

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR / L) license
  • NBCOT certification is mandatory
  • Essential Skills
