Night Operations Manager

Position Summary :

The Night Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility’s night shift operations. This includes order selection, replenishment, dock and yard management, loading, sanitation, and receiving (as needed). The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operational performance across all night shift activities. This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring on-time departures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and driving continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Shift Operations Management

• Oversee all night operations, including selection, replenishment, loading, yard jockey coordination, sanitation, and receiving.
• Ensure on-time truck departures through effective dock and yard management.
• Conduct end-of-shift walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment readiness.
• Review and address maintenance concerns and report any facility issues.
• Ensure PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) inspection forms are completed and equipment is parked and charging correctly.
