Your Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously, as permissible by your credentials
• Guiding patients and families on wellness, preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice

• Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
• Recording thorough and accurate information within electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Succeed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to obtain within 90 days)
