Sr. Systems Engineer

GovStaff is seeking a Senior Level, TS cleared, Systems Engineer for a key permanent long-term job opening in Quantico, VA. Due to the secure nature of the responsibilities, this position is fully onsite in Quantico.

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing and leading complex engineering activities while serving as a technical lead for large-scale infrastructure and lifecycle projects in classified environments. Must have the capability to provide expert-level support across Windows, Linux, virtualization, and VDI technologies, ensuring mission-critical systems remain secure , resilient, and effective

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligibility preferred).
• Five (5) years of experience engineering and supporting complex distributed server infrastructure (Windows and Linux).
• Expert-level experience building and supporting Windows desktop systems (Windows 7, 8, 10).
• Expert-level experience designing infrastructures for high-latency, low-bandwidth networks (satellite / cellular broadband).
• Five (5) years of experience engineering and supporting virtual infrastructures.
• Five (5) years of experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (Citrix or VMware).
• Current Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent certification.
• Prior supervisory or management experience leading systems integration teams in large-scale environments.
• Experience with system architecture design, implementation oversight, test / troubleshooting, and system management tools.
