Job Title : Travel Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room Location : Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, MI Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM Assignment Type : Travel Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Position Overview : Marquette General Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support its Operating Room team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience and demonstrate proficiency in neurosurgery and orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and available
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments
  • Monitor patient safety and support infection control standards
  • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Active CST certification
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience in operating room settings
  • Demonstrated experience in neurosurgery and orthopedic procedures
  • BLS certification
  • Strong understanding of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
