Laboratory Assistant II - Neurology

Description

The Laboratory Assistant II is expected to work as part of a team, following a training period. The Lab Assistant must have the ability to assist with multiple, detail-oriented tasks accurately, reproducibly, and efficiently is required. Prior experience with administering standardized assessments to study volunteers to assist the PI and study team record characteristics of study enrollees is preferred. The Lab Assistant will also assist in data acquisition project activities involving non-invasive stimulation and MRI sessions.

Salary Range : $23.12 - $27.20 / Hourly

Qualifications

Required :

Knowledge of basic laboratory safety and protocol is highly desirable.

Skilled in working with basic laboratory equipment.

Ability to communicate clearly and work in a team environment.

Previous experience working in a laboratory setting.

Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner.

Skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a

different nature.

Willingness to work occasional weekends

Preferred :

• Bachelor's or similar degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or closely related field.
