Job description

Ultrasound Technologist

A hospital near Spring Lake, North Carolina, is seeking experienced Ultrasound Technologists to join their imaging team! Join an excellent team dedicated to serving their community!

Pay Range : $34.00 - $54.00 / hour

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity :

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Day or Night Shift available
  • Shift differentials available
  • $10,000 sign-on
  • Relocation assistance available

Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities :

  • Ensures thorough patient preparation by answering questions, communicating special instructions with the supervising radiologist, and accurately recording exam times in the Radiology Information System (RIS) for timely access and interpretation.
  • Maintaining ethical working relationships and good rapport with patents, staff, and interrelating hospitals or agencies
  • Calibrating and maintaining the equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and reporting any malfunctions or performance issue to appropriate staff

    • Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications :

  • Graduate of a Sonography program
  • Current registration by ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
  • Two or more RDMS certification preferred
  • At least 1 year Previous sonography experience required
