Job Description :

Hybrid 3 / 2 and std business hrs.

• They received a large business intelligence migration project of 100+ reports. They need someone strong in these areas;
• MicroStrategy - Extracting complex, large multi-source reports. They're having trouble with MicroStrategy, so they're moving away from it.
• Tableau -design, manage and deploying data systems, reports, and dynamic dashboards, as well as training users in these systems and the use of reports, build out dashboards
• SQL - Coding, building business tables, multiple disciplines, SQL Server. Oracle and Teradata is a PLUS.
• Alteryx - Data manipulation, and validation.

A financial services or banking background is preferred.

This is a very dedicated / focused team that will provide support. But this project will be managed and organized by the resource. Must have exp in MicroStrategy data migrations, SQL coding and Tableau dashboard creation. Must be confident, mature, solid communicator and a driver to complete this.

Our client is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

Extract data from multiple sources, manipulate and validate data, and conduct root cause analysis and will also present analytic findings

Play an essential role in presenting operational solutions and recommendations to leadership

Gather requirements, draw insights from data, prepare executive presentations, identify inefficiencies, and ensure the data within the solutions is accurate

Design, manage, and deploy data systems, reports, and dynamic dashboards, as well as train users in these systems and the use of reports

Requirements :

Extensive experience in SQL coding across multiple disciplines, SQL Server / Oracle / Teradata

Experience in working with complex MicroStrategy reports using advanced filters, level metrics, transformation metrics and using pass through functions in the schema objects, experience with analytics, and will use their extensive knowledge of reporting tools, technologies, and approaches to develop BI dashboards and insightful reporting across the Global Credit Operations
