Job description

Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system. This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Our Business Services team is here to make sure that Data and Digital thrive like a well-oiled machine. We're the ones who help set the course, gather resources, and make sure things run smoothly - think of us as the ultimate planners and communicators, making sure everyone is on the same page!

We're like the superhero support squad for Data and Digital. From keeping everyone in the loop through top-notch communication (we're buddies with the Communication and Engagement team) to making sure the right people are in the right places (our friends in People and Culture are our partners here), we've got it all covered.

We've got a handle on best practices, training, and making sure everyone's got the right skills. Plus, we're the guardians of risk management and privacy – keeping things safe and sound in the world of Data and Digital is our specialty.

Mōu | About you

As our D&D Change Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Data & Digital team, working hand-in-hand with the Group Manager Capability & Change to bring positive transformations to our ways of working.

Your role is all about crafting and implementing change management plans that support our journey towards new and improved practices. Imagine creating a harmonious and consistent approach to change management across Data & Digital that not only aligns with best practices but also propels our digital transformation forward.

You'll be the driving force behind change programs, ensuring that our technology initiatives align perfectly with our strategic goals. By fostering a culture that embraces data and innovation, you'll help us make informed decisions and streamline our processes. And that's not all – your knack for identifying potential risks, enhancing customer experiences, and staying ahead of industry trends will empower us to flourish in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

But you're not alone on this adventure! You'll collaborate closely with the Group Manager to contribute to the change program, introducing exciting new ways of working. Your expertise will help ensure that our Data & Digital workforce is well-versed in best practices, policies, and procedures. Plus, you'll be a key player in our team, partnering with other Change Analysts, Project Managers, and various departments to create seamless and effective change management practices.

Preference will be given to applications of significantly affected Kaimahi through the change process.

Tō mātou whakahaere ki te tika, te rerekētanga, me te whai wāhi mai |Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

Our name, Te Whatu Ora, means ‘the weaving of wellness'. Whatu is the combining together of people, resources, organisations, thoughts and actions for the betterment and wellbeing of all. Whatu is also a direct reference to the pupil of the eye, and the vision required of the new entity and system.

At Te Whatu Ora we acknowledge and respect our people's diversity and spiritual needs, ensuring a safe workplace that is a whānau orientated and supportive environment. We are working towards a system that better meets the complex demands of a growing population, addresses the persistent inequalities experienced by Māori and ensures greater access, experience and outcomes for those traditionally not well served by the system – Māori, Pacific and Disabled People.
