What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize water treatment and wastewater treatment chemistries, including coagulation, flocculation, disinfection, corrosion control, and specialty formulations.
- Conduct bench-scale and pilot-scale testing to evaluate treatment efficiency, compliance performance, and process improvements.
- Provide technical leadership on water quality issues and chemical performance.
- Perform routine lab activities : analytical testing, method development, SOP refinement, and data interpretation for operational teams.
- Partner with engineering, environmental, and operations staff to troubleshoot treatment challenges and recommend chemical or process adjustments.
- Contribute to long-term planning for treatment optimization and system reliability. What You Need to Bring
- PhD or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Required : Demonstrated expertise in water treatment and / or wastewater treatment chemistry.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation (FTIR, GC / MS, HPLC, etc.) and water quality testing methods.
- Ability to design experiments, interpret data, and translate findings into operational recommendations.
